*Mixer will continue after dinner until (whenever)?

Class of 1985 40th Reunion News:

Mark your calendars for July 18-20, because the Los Alamos High School Class of ’85 is throwing a party four decades in the making — and yes, it will be more fun than prom.

We’re taking over some of Los Alamos’ finest spots — Fuller Lodge, Bathtub Row Brewing, and the Ski Hill — for a weekend full of laughter, throwbacks, questionable dance moves, and probably some talk about knee replacements. Hotel blocks are secured in both Los Alamos and Pojoaque, so no excuses!

Our goal? To round up as many ’85 grads as possible for a weekend of nostalgic awesomeness. And bonus: DK Warner’s band, DK & The Affordables, will be rocking at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 19 at Bathtub Row Brewing. We’d love to see other LAHS alums from different classes swing by and join the fun.

The class of 1970 is planning at a Meet 'n Greet at Ashley Pond on Friday evening, a Tour of the High School on Saturday afternoon, dinner at Blue Window Saturday night. And finally a Bring your own Lunch at Urban Park on Sunday. Please try to attend!

This message contains updated information from the committee planning the Los Alamos High School class of 1970 55-year reunion. The reunion dates are August 22 – 24, 2025.

Our [payment site is now available](http://classof1970.givesmart.com/) and ready to accept credit card payments. Be sure to click the "0" box in the middle of the second form! Tickets for all reunion events are $120.00 per person. We have partnered with the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation and GiveSmart.com to manage this part of our activity. The foundation is a non-profit that does a world of good for the public-school students and teachers in Los Alamos. Your support of the foundation is encouraged, but in no way required.

As you fill out the payment form you will have an opportunity to choose to either pay or decline to pay the processing fee associated with your transaction. The choice is yours, and if you feel able to cover the credit card fee yourself more of your payment will remain in the reunion budget.

The reunion activities include a meet and greet at Ashley Pond on Friday evening. On Saturday afternoon there will be an organized tour of the much-remodeled high school. Dinner on Saturday evening will be a buffet at the Blue Window Bistro, which is located across Central Avenue from the post office. The proposed menu sounds delicious! On Sunday afternoon we’ll have a picnic at Urban Park.

The cost to attend the reunion will be $120.00 per person. That includes dinner on Saturday and the picnic on Sunday. Not included in the price are accommodations, alcoholic beverages, and food on Friday evening. The Blue Window Bistro does have a full bar and a nice wine list.

So far, we have not set a deadline for payments to be made, but early payments will help us in our planning.

On a similar note, we want to remind you that available hotel rooms in Los Alamos are limited, so if you are traveling, please make your reservations soon.
