Auto Mechanic for about 10 years then went back to school and became an Avionics Technician. I worked on mostly military aircraft but also on civilian airliners. Retired at age 63 1/2.

I also played guitar for numerous bands in Phoenix. I'm trying to get started on that in Flagstaff but the scene here is smaller and I haven't found any bands that need me quite yet. I have been traveling to Jemez Springs to play at the Los Ojos bar with Guy Raper and my little brother Paul. Lots of fun!
Sadly, many of my fellow musicians (mostly bass players) have passed away.

After LAHS I spent a year at New Mexico Highlands University. I only had $600 which was enough (in those days) to spend a year there. I eventually was able to go to UNM in Albuquerque and finished a two-year degree. I was going to finish my bachelor's degree, but Honeywell didn't pay overtime to Engineers. I made more money working overtime as a technician than an engineer was paid. This was how I supported my family and especially my daughter and a beautiful horse that she rode successfully to many victories in the southwest region.
