Sharon, was so nice several years ago to chat with you here. How have you been? Mary
Hi, Rodie, or Rody, anyway, my nickname for you! How are you? Sorry you lost those brothers. I’ve lost a lot too, but am doing pretty ok. Am a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner, all from UNM. Fascinating stints in the military, including two months as Medical Officer on the NOAA Ship Miller Freeman, up in the Bering Sea!
Never had an idea to go into such a career, but had a dream when I was 23 years old that I was catching a baby being born into my hands. So, I had to follow that of course!!
Difficult, but extremely rewarding. Your service as a Reverend sounds great too.
I hope you’re well, as we tumble into our eighties.
Suzi Beauchamp and I have also been in contact over the years, including at her first wedding, she is doing reasonably well, and I love talking with her. She is on this site too. Her twin brothers and sister were our wedding photographers in 1967, outside in the Pojoaque Valley on the lawn of Bill’s parents. I wish you could have been there too.

Carl was a good and fine friend of mine, whom I have always missed since we graduated. God bless you, Carl, wherever and whenever you are, and I hope to see you somewhere, sometime. LOVE from your true friend Mary. Meanwhile, continue your blissful flight with angels.
Mom, I love you and miss you. Thank you for all the love, encouragement, and opportunities you gave me. thank you for telling me, as you were dying, "I am sorry, I didn't know." Thank you for being my teacher too, in sophomore English, and everyday. You taught me about social justice, and how to be a warrior with my heart on my sleeve, for all peoples, no matter who they were, the color of their skin, their religion, their sexual orientation, their origin. You didn't lecture me, just modeled for me. Everyday, I miss you. I talk to you, and I think you're listening. I know how much you loved and respected all your students. --your youngest child by far, Mary Augusta.
Thanks for your service, mary
