Robby Poore

I was a concert lighting designer for several years in and out of college. I studied painting, drawing, and printmaking at UNM, and graduated in 1993. Lynne Sampson and I married in 1993 and moved to Atlanta, GA in 1994, then to Chapel Hill, NC, so Lynne could get her PhD in epidemiology. I got a job at UNC Chapel Hill, where I continue to work as a graphic designer. I play guitar in a band, Phatlynx, and DJ at the Duke radio station (WXDU), and teach screen printing classes.

Buy me a beer and I'll tell you some good school stories. LAHS was fun, and I got some lifelong skills from my time there, though not necessarily from the classes I took (other than Mr. Webb's graphic design class).
