I received a BS in Media Studies from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) in 1993 and spent more than 25 years in media and communications. I recently retired as the ED of the Donate Life Texas organ and tissue donor registry for the state of Texas to help care for my parents who still live in Los Alamos.

My husband, Tim, and I will be married 21 years in April 2021 and have 3 adorable furbabies. When not cleaning up dog hair, I enjoy DIY-ing, gardening, cooking and trying to keep all of life's plates spinning.

School Story

During my time at LAHS, I was on the diving team, was active in Olions and was cast as an emcee for Topper Review in my senior year (much to my own astonishment.) I was a competitive gymnast with the Los Alamos School of Gymnastics until my junior year. In the summer of 1988, I visited Asia as a delegate of the People to People Student Ambassador Program - an experience which has had profound influence on my life.

Suzy Straight Miller has left an In Memory comment for Jennifer Fleming.

I had to pull over recently when I saw the Adopt A Street sign on Baranca Mesa in Jennifer's name for the first time - all those 30 year old memories came flooding back. Even though I was not among her closest friends, I remember the shock of hearing about the accident and the profound sense of loss and heartbreak that came after, At her service, someone commented that she had "lived life at a sprint," which was such an apt description of her effervescent spirit and joyful nature. To this very day, those of us who were lucky enough to have known her, even for that short time, are all the better for it.
