Graduated from US Merchant Marine Academy with degree in marine engineering. US Naval Commission (reserves) and worked 4 years as shipboard engineer visiting 67 countries, including 5 trips to Viet Nam.
Graduated from Harvard Business School in 1973 and worked for 2 of the top 10 banks in the world, including Citibank. Various careers in and out of government, for example spent 5 years as housing consultant for the City of New york welfare department establishing programs for homeless families to quickly facilitate their exit from the shelter system into permanent housing.
Currently on the Board of the Smithsonian Libraries Advisory Board, an art foundation/gallery I co-founded 15 years ago in Chelsea area of NYC, a baroque orchestra in NYC, the US Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Foundation Board of Directors and a european based foundation with mandatory meetings in Europe twice a year. I am also in my 5th year of classical and jazz piano studies at Juilliard in NYC.

School Story

I always laugh that I was President of the National Honor Society despite my parents having finished high school at night in Chicago, as they had to support their large catholic families. So many of the other students had Ph.D. fathers.

I attribute much of my academic success to the foundation I received in the Los Alamos school system, especially the high school.

Lots of fond memories I hope to share at the reunion.

nice to read your profile, Wyoming is a beautiful state. I've been to all the states and 113 countries. you and Agnew and meaders and wyman? were always the smartest in our class.

Dennis, Happy birthday. hope to see you at a reunion. at the last reunion, my sister said I was the third best looking guy in the class photo. you should know there were only 3 people in the photo, all guys. Johnny Gunther, Fidel Salazar, and myself. no gals. bad showing. but they looked great.

Hi Martha, happy birthday! are you still playing your flute? I missed you at the reunion this summer. My sister barbie said I was the third best looking guy in our class picture. since we had only 3 people attend, all guys, she was clearly right.
